Counter-Terrorism Preparedness & Training

The IML is working to develop training products and supporting infrastructure to promote counterterrorism preparedness among first responders at local, state, and Federal levels. This work is being done as part of a collaborative agreement with the Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).


The Virtual Terrorism Response Academy: Operations Plus for WMD-Hazmat (2007)
Ops-Plus for WMD Hazmat is an interactive course for fire, EMS and law-enforcement personnel in dealing with situations involving CBRNE threats.
